Wei amounts can exceed the exact integer range of ordinary JavaScript numbers. BigInt arithmetic preserves each wei.
Is gwei a different asset?+
No. Wei and gwei are denominations of ETH, like smaller units of the same quantity.
Can I convert a token with six decimals?+
Not with this ETH-specific tool. Check that token’s documented decimal scale first.
